On Celestia’s Secret Service
This was among my earliest comic ideas for Horse Power; none of my friends noticed the layering mistake until I pointed it out. In a world dictated by vectors, you’d have to imagine that the ability to tell yourself to Bring to Front would actually be an acceptable super power. This is probably my comic most inspired by Penny Arcade and their penchant to find the least likely action hero. We may see the further adventures of Agent Webber, I haven’t decided yet.
I wish I could say that this was some kind of commentary on how fans cling to minuscule side and background characters with the most intense fervor, but my honest intentions were to make a stupid joke about a duck. If you want something more satirical, I recommend a little ditty by Tom Smith called “Who the **** is Matt.” Just be forewarned, it contains many a bomb of the F nature.
This week’s comic is a bit late, even then, it was a bit of a rush job. I’ve been cleaning, preparing for podcasts, setting up XBMC on an old laptop, and, rewatching the entirety of Space Ghost Coast to Coast. Jet’s been fairly quiet for the better part of the last month, hence me taking art duty again. I’m sure I’ll be bugging him to do pony work soon.
